Herbal Glycerites are produced when fresh or dried leaves, flowers, or other plant materials are placed into an menstruum (in this case vegetable glycerin) designed to extract the desired medicinal properties from that botanical. Glycerites are an excellent alternative to tinctures for individuals who may be sensitive to, or prefer not to consume alcohol. They are also great for the whole family as they are extremely palpable and are sweet to the taste, but the unique properties of glycerin means that the sweet taste won't come with an increase in blood glucose!
